Tactics Do Marketers – But while postal marketing is second

But while postal marketing is second at every stage of the funnel because of its ease of implementation, the simplest tactics that respondents say can be applied to social media. While the best results for high-level tactics are recommendations, events and content marketing, the most commonly used tactics are email marketing, personalized media marketing and event marketing, in that order. The most effective tactics for this part of the funnel was routing, event and video marketing. Of course, e-mail marketing is the most commonly used tactic, regardless of which part of the marketing funnel is designed for it. While the Ascend2 report published earlier this year recognizes that social media marketing is the simplest tactic, it is also different from GetResponse data because social media marketing is also generally the most effective tactic. In fact, 61% of respondents believe video marketing is more effective in this sector than 51% of respondents who believe it is better suited for high profile events. However, most marketing tactics tend to be more effective in the early stages of funnel development. However, respondents often use email, events and reference marketing. Sellers may be aware of the effectiveness of a particular tactic at different stages of the funnel, but this does not mean that they can easily apply the tactics. Nevertheless sellers found that some tactics work better than others, depending on where the buyers are in the funnel. Video marketing is the only obvious tactic that seems to increase efficiency at the bottom of the funnel. According to the GetResponse and Demand Metric report, 7 out of 10 out of 250 respondents indicated that they do not know the return on investment in the funnel or have an inaccurate idea. A recent Bizzabo report showed that B2B technology marketers typically view personal events as the most effective channel.
