Since 2013, the National Association of REALTORS® has produced a report on generational trends in home buying and selling. Seniors continue to make up the largest percentage of home buyers at 38%, with seniors at 25% and juniors at 13%. 86% of juniors and 52% of seniors bought their first home, more than other age groups. This report provides an overview of the differences and similarities between generations of home buyers and sellers.
