Holidays Past – Email volume is expected to increase again

Email volume is expected to increase again at Christmas this year, but initial data shows that email volume has increased faster and earlier this year as more and more retailers give up Thanksgiving promotions for this year’s Black Friday offers. Last year email volume increased exponentially through Black Friday and Cyber Sunday. If you get the “Try Again Later” error mentioned above when trying to send to certain providers and mailbox providers, check your connection and speed settings and change them if necessary. Although it seems logical to add an IP address now to avoid the dreaded “Try Again Later” message unless you have already “warmed up” the IP addresses to get a positive call, it is too late to add another IP address now to get a positive result. Last week I showed you the ghosts of past holiday email marketing, what to prepare now and what could go wrong in the future. But bad data may reappear next year and haunt you if you don’t check the addresses and clean up the invalid data. But what if your future holiday period sees its own ghosts? Many of you have written with the question of how to deal with the fear of an unexpected holiday. If you still see this mistake, you should consider sending campaigns during your free time. Volumes fell from their peaks, but remained above average until a few days before Christmas. Avoid major changes such as adding a new IP address. When making a list, double check.
