The question is: how would you briefly describe the difference between brand strategy and brand positioning? Actually, I’m looking for help. We focus on sharing experiences that promote an in-depth debate on brand and brand management and promote community among marketers. Brand positioning, which is so important, is only one element of the brand strategy. While it is essential to demonstrate brand positioning, it cannot replace a global brand strategy. We found that a common mistake made by advertising agencies and others equates to branding with branding, brand messaging and marketing communication. While branding messages are an important part of branding, many other potential elements of branding are still missing. Strong brands make credible, relevant and distinctive brand promises that are a central element in brand positioning.
