Google Analytics tags are not custom HTML tags that can be used to set reminders, nor are they templates for custom tags that can be configured to create reminders. These are tag templates that require a successful reminder when getting the HitCallback method of a Google Analytics tag. In this article, I will explain what it means to “do” and how Google Analytics tags in particular exhibit this behavior. This means that Google Analytics tags that are activated after the Optimize Container tag is enabled will not work. So such a tag can’t indicate that it still works as if the browser has never reached the end of the code block and the code has never caused errors, meaning that the code is in an infinite loop or memory leak, causing the whole browser to hang up. So if the Google Analytics tag continues to work, it means that your HitCallback has never been achieved. Google Tag Manager sees a reminder in the code and waits for it, but since the global method doesn’t work anymore, you’ll never get it. When it’s time to launch this tag, Google Tag Manager inserts it at the end of the
template of the document object and the browser continues to run the code in thePricing Plans | Members Section
